I've been starting to go through some of my older releases in order to get my MangaDex stuff a bit more up to scratch and, apart from noticing my complete inability to spell/edit/TL (some of which I've been fixing as I go along), I've been pretty amused by just how much Cestvs' art's changed.

Past reminiscences aside, only three more chapters for the volume!

Kentou Ankokuden Cestvs Ch. CVII & Yuzumori-san Ch. 29

Been working on Bond (fuck me the chapter's long) alongside something else entirely the last few days, but here's a couple of chapters anyway.

First up we've the next Cestvs. Even accepting the scientific explanation given in the chapter this is probably a conclusion that's a bit hard to swallow, but things are back to Ruska soon so whatever I guess.

Contrary to my long, dramatic post previously, it seems that the issue of Batoto's successor has (at least for the immediate future) been solved with the emergence of MangaDex. While there's obvious teething issues/lack of features, a number of more famous groups already made the jump, so I'll look into uploading my stuff there...

Eko Eko Azarak Ch. 31 & Youkai Banchou Ch. 32

It's the end of the week, so here's the usual.

First up we've the start of volume four of Azarak. This is perhaps the single weirdest chapter in all of Azarak, and honestly feels more like a string of non sequiturs than anything. I've honestly no idea what the intention behind the chapter was, and a look over the net shows that the Japanese don't really either.

And here's some more stuff.

First up we've the bonus pages from the Somali tank. Each of these pages is meant to come at the end of a chapter in the tank (e.g. page 29 comes after chapter 20), but I'm far too lazy to go and re-upload all of the earlier chapters.

A few people have asked me what I plan to do once Batoto closes and I've honestly no idea. The optimal situation would of course be that a replacement site pops up promptly, but there's no guarantee of that.

If no successor site does pop up within a few weeks I might see if I can share another group's reader, or I might just take an extended break from scan stuff fullstop. I've honestly no idea. If nothing else I will keep this blog up to date for anything I do release, though I know that's not an optimal solution for many.

Iron Ghost no Shoujo Ch. 7 & Yuzumori-san Ch. 27.2

And as promised, here's something which isn't Cestvs (I would've had some Cestvs too but I'm working early tomorrow).

First up we've this month's Iron Ghost, which is hitting Cestvs length at only 16 pages. Presumably this was because of the first tank release, which was also out today (as expected there was no bonus content). Will have to see if next month's is any longer.

One thing the tank did clarify though, was that Mikamoto has given up on titling his chapters (that is, chapters one to three are simply called as such in the volume, not whatever they were before).

In the previous chapter (CII) I'd had a slight error, stating on page three that the tournament would be in four days, when it was meant to be that it was four days long. The online version's been updated already, and I'll get around to the DL version sometime soon.

In unrelated news the Yuzumori TL is done so expect that tomorrow. Probably can expect some other non Cestvs/Azarak/Youkai stuff soonish too.

It's the end of the week, so here's the latest two chapters of Azarak and Youkai. Given how things are it's perhaps a tad pointless me offering the online links for these, but I guess we'll see what the future might hold.

First up then we've chapter 30 of Azarak, with which we come to the end of volume three (it only took what, two years)!

And then we've chapter 31 of Youkai. Looking back I realised that last chapter I had made something of a confusing translation choice. When the Tengu King is talking of a king to Miko, he is referring to the shogi piece (oushou), not himself (ousama in the Japanese). I've tried to clarify it a tad with this chapter, but at some point I'll need to go back and make a proper note in chapter 30. Hopefully it doesn't cause too much confusion.

Much to my editor's ire these two chapters have been done for a little while now, I was just finding other things to do instead of QCing them!

First up then we've the start of the second 007 volume. Technically speaking this is a prologue sorta chapter (the chapter count resets each volume), but I'm nothing if not weirdly fussy when it comes to these things.

Iron Ghost no Shoujo Ch. 6

Had a bunch of other stuff which delayed this chapter, but better late than never I suppose.

I can't recall if I mentioned it or not, but the first volume's been dated for release on the 12th of this month (which is also when chapter seven will be out). I don't imagine it'll contain anything new, but if nothing else the cover revealed the official English translation of the title as A Girl of the Iron Ghost.
