Kentou Ankokuden Cestvs Ch. LXVI
And here's the start of the ninth volume of Cestvs. It's this volume in which things start to get really different. While it has a whopping 12 chapters, they're all only 16 pages long. On top of that the part itself is split across two volumes, the latter half of things continuing on over into volume 10.
Given the short length of the chapters then my editor and I may speed up releases of this, once a few other things are finished first mind.

The whole concept behind Youkai Banchou originated in an earlier work of Shibata's called Misako. Having not read it I've no idea as to how similar/different it actually is, but given this chapter I guess Shibata at least liked the name.

Getter Robo Devolution: Uchuu Saigo no 3-punkan Ch. 19

In unrelated news the first volume of the weird Getter mahjong thing will be out soon. Still no news on volume three of Devolution though.

And so we come to the end of another Cestvs volume, with this only seven remain. As ever the final bunch of notes are untranslated, I'll get to them some day I swear.
I've a few other things being worked on at the moment (Getter, Kaiten, Somali etc.) but they'll probably be a while yet.

Kentou Ankokuden Cestvs Ch. LXIV & Yuzumori-san Ch. 20-21.1
And here's another sort-of-double-sort-of-triple release.
First up we've the latest chapter of Cestvs, only one left for the volume.
And then we've the two most recent Yuzumori chapters. If you were curious about the magazine cover in 22 the only thing really worth mentioning is that Ririha's listed as the cover model, and that she has an article in it as well, the rest's just general fashion magazine stuff. With this though we're back up to date until 22 comes out on the 31st, well, barring the bonus stuff from the second volume.
While on the subject, my copy of the third volume arrived the other day and it's sort of weird. While Ejima merged the two parts of chapter 16 together, she kept 18 separate (so there's chapter 18 and chapter 18.5 in the volume). She also split up the bonus stuff and had a sort of early afterword about halfway through the volume alongside a little extra at the end which'll make things even nicer for me when I eventually get to it.

And then we've the latest Kaiten chapter. The romanization in the title includes a hyphen so I'll be including one too from now on (the title's probably also meant to be all caps too but I won't bother going that far).
With this we're now caught up, next chapter's due out in a week.

Somali to Mori no Kami-sama Ch. 20 & Survival Ch. 100
And here's another double bill.
First up we've chapter 20 of Somali. As mentioned before we're now onto the web raws for this, hence the crap quality. Unfortunately there's not a lot that can be done about it as the fourth volume won't be out for another five months, at the earliest.
And then we've chapter 100 of Survival. It's pretty crazy to think we've hit 100 chapters of this, though it's even crazier to think there are now only 11 left until the end!

Survival Ch. 99 & Youkai Banchou Ch. 2
And here's another double.
First up we've chapter 99 of Survival. One left for the big 100!

Alright so here's the bonus chapter from volume 11 of Chainsaw which I'd skipped previously. As mentioned before this was just a little extra thing which Mikamoto did to help tie in with the movie's release (he actually published these sorts of things after each chapter of Satanister but stopped for whatever reason when he started Chainsaw). It's not amazingly insightful but hey, a (bonus) chapter's a (bonus) chapter.
Speaking of Mikamoto his latest series started in today's issue of Comic Beam. So far it's exactly what you could probably imagine Mikamoto putting out (the MC is also the spitting image of Geeko).

Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw Ch. 76, Kentou Ankokuden Cestvs Ch. LXII & Survival Ch. 98
So it turns out this will actually be my 300th post on this blog. I dunno whether or not that's something to be happy about but in celebration here's a surprise triple release (it'll also mark three chapters in one week for Chainsaw/Survival, so threes all round).
First up then we've the start of the penultimate volume of Chainsaw. I've still the little bonus chapter from the previous volume to do but most of it's just Mikamoto shilling for the film, so it's not too important.
Then we've the next chapter of Cestvs. There are now three chapters left for the volume if you wanna try and keep this post's theme going.
And last but not least we've a chapter of Survival.

Survival Ch. 97 & Yuzumori-san Ch. 19

First up we've a chapter of Survival.
And then we've the next chapter of Yuzumori. YMMV with the fighting game stuff at the start as Japanese fighting game terms aren't exactly my forte (I must also admit to being more of a KoF fan).
Due to my poor planning we're still a chapter behind, with chapter 21 being out on the 17th (so next Sunday). The third volume is also out this week meaning there should be another bonus coming too, not that I've gotten around to the second volume's yet anyway. In short we're eternally behind and I suck.

Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw Ch. 75 & Somali to Mori no Kami-sama Ch. 19
And here's another double bill.
First up we've chapter 75 of Chainsaw. While this is the final actual chapter of volume 11 there's still a little bonus thing I've yet to translate (think of it as 75.5) so we're not quite onto volume 12 yet.
And then we've chapter 19 of Somali, which is a pretty dumb chapter all things considered.
Personal gripes aside we've now come to the end of the third volume, meaning we've caught up to what's been published in Japan. There are still three uncollected chapters remaining for which I do have the raws. They're fairly low quality though (yay for web raws) so we'll have to see if I can be bothered to work with them, else it''ll be a wait until November or something for the fourth volume's release.

Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw Ch. 74 & Kentou Ankokuden Cestvs Ch. LXI
So somewhat unrelated news to start with, but it was announced earlier today that Seven Seas would be officially localising Devolution, with the first volume being out May 2018. This is obviously fantastic news and, if Seven Seas' previous acquisitions are anything to go by, probably means they'll be releasing the original Getter Robo at some point in the near future too.
With that in mind I will, at least for the time being, continue on releasing Devolution as I've done up till now. While I'm rather wary of doing something which has been licensed I can also appreciate that a good 10~ or so new chapters will have been released by the time the first volume comes out in English, and that it'll be a good few years before things are going to be fully caught up. Obviously if I get hit by a DMCA or something I'll stop, but for the time being I don't intend to do much differently. I will however stop putting direct downloads for the chapters up, so you'll need to directly rip them from Batoto or something if you care for that sort of thing. It also means I likely won't get around to redoing anything from tank scans, but I'd not exactly done much on that front anyway.
Big chunks of text aside here's the next chapter of Chainsaw, something I don't imagine ever being licensed in English. Only one (and a half) chapters left for the volume.
And then here's the next chapter of Cestvs, another title which'll forever elude English licensing. We're over halfway through the volume for this now too.
As one final note I realised I made a mistake in the dates, and that we're now two Yuzumori chapters behind, so that's something I'll try and remedy soon(ish).

Survival Ch. 95 & Youkai Banchou Ch. 1
And here's another double.
First up we've chapter 95 of Survival, sudden forest fire edition.
And then we've the start of something sorta new. I say sorta new because Youkai Banchou is actually the prequel to Kaiten One (which I of course started a few weeks back now), and features much of the same cast.
Truth be told I probably shoulda started this before I did Kaiten but fuck it we're here now. At 57 chapters it's a comparatively short series, so I'll hopefully be able to get through it fairly quickly.
If you're not familiar with it then it's a pretty wacky fantasy series about a bunch of elementary school girls who fight weird youkai and stuff. If nothing else it at least starts on a more focused note that Kaiten!
