It's the end of the year so what better than to finish things off with a Survival volume. I was gonna just do the one chapter but my editor moaned and said we might as well finish the lot, so here we are.

With this we're now 2/3 of the way through the entire series (well, slightly less if you include the bonus volume). Come this time next year then Survival should by all accounts be done.

007 Series Ch. 1

Alright so here's something new. This is the first chapter from volume one of Takao Saito's series of James Bond adaptations. Originally written way back in the 60s in the long defunct shounen magazine Boy's Life it was something of a hit for Saito, though perhaps more notably it serves as the obvious prototype for Golgo 13.

Four volumes were written in total covering Live and Let Die, Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and The Man with the Golden Gun.

Thanks for this release should primarily go to my editor, Nady, for getting through the whole 70 pages without much fuss, and elemhunter for scanning the volume in the first place. My own contribution mostly amounted to just missing half of the text boxes on most pages.

In this chapter there's seemingly a degree of ambiguity with regards to the line on the final page. Depending on how you're inclined you could probably read it as I've ruined it all or as I'm ruined. I went with the former though YMMV as always.

At any rate the next chapter's listed as coming out this Sunday (i.e. the 12th). There's never yet been as short a gap between chapters, so it may well end up being pushed back. This Sunday also marks the publication date of the first volume, so if you've been patiently waiting to give Ejima your money then now's your chance.
