And then an interview for The Moon which I've been holding back on doing for too long. It was included in one of the earlier reprints of the series (but not the digital version that I'm working from), though to be honest it's more a general interview about Akiyama himself than The Moon in particular (granted it does contain some minor spoilers).

Text wise it's the equivalent of like, 60 actual pages from the series, which is why it's taken so long despite me now releasing it as part of volume one.

And so we both begin the final arc of The Moon, and finish off volume three.

In the chapter a number of UFO sightings are mentioned by Sansuu and co. Of these I was able to actually find three, with two of these having since been proven hoaxes (and, as mentioned in the chapter, the date for one of them is outright wrong). If anyone does happen to know anything about the remaining cases though I'd be more than happy to make any relevant corrections.

I should also note that Shouemon and Shimokitazawa's names remain subject to change as I'm not entirely sure on the romanisation (or if they're meant to be puns or references or something).

The Moon Ch. 4.4

We have today what was by all accounts the most irritating part of The Moon for me to work on. For who knows what reason Sansuu and co. decide midway into the chapter to break out the Heart Sutra making it not only a pain to try and translate but also to typeset. As far as the former goes I took the best sounding English translation I could find on the net, then transcribed it roughly to match the Japanese used (although it's not a perfect fit, as the sentences in Japanese often break off at different points). As for the latter, well, after hours spent trying to sort out the script itself I was mostly just trying to get it done. At some point I may change a few things around, but for now it'll have to do.

It's also worth mentioning that the release is also a bit larger than usual. I'd hoped to get a bit more done in fact, but had mislaid some of the PSDs.

Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hachigakari Ch. 3 & Char to Amuro to Oi to: Yasuragi no Chihei e Ch. 2

You'd be forgiven for thinking that this blog had turned into a fan site for The Moon these past few months, but here at last are a few (comparatively short) chapters of some other stuff I once released way back when.

First up, we've Active Raid. My editor had actually gotten this sorted years back, but I was ultra slow on getting to it. Maybe the next one will go faster.
