As it's the end of the volume. As the chapters are short as hell anyway I figured I might as well put out 37 and 38 together; with this we are once more caught up with Japan.
Having read through chapter 44 (the most recently released chapter prior to the latest hiatus) I would be very, very shocked if the series didn't end with volume five as it's hit what seems to be endgame territory. We'll have to see.
Oh, and I got some Chainsaw done too.

ReplyDeleteThanks for these translations. Can you tell us what briefly happens in chapters 42-44? Is the merc the same one we play as in Umbrella Corps?

DeleteAnd as for the later chapters (obvious spoilers below):
Tominaga returns to the group, but is knocked out by Julie and later finds himself hanging over a pit.
Julie is tackled into said pit by zombified Laura, but injects herself with the virus before dying.
Tominaga and co. escape to the beach, where they run into the Hunk lookalikes.
They're then attacked by the now mutated Julie, who wipes out all of the Hunks and grabs Marilou. Morio also turns up.
The Hunks left some equipment on their landing craft which Tominaga and Claire find, and chapter 44 ends with them basically wondering how they can use it to defeat Julie without harming Marilou.
